Kundalini yoga is a powerful method of connecting within and nourishing the body, mind & soul. A vibrant practice through which we can learn to concentrate, ground & become still.
The practice normally includes a Kriya (sequence of postures with a specific energy, purpose & rhythm), during which we activate, strengthen and balance the various systems of the physical body.
Pranayama (breathwork & meditation) is my favourite part of the practice, learning to expand and deepen our breath. Through a conscious relationship with our breath, we become more present and receptive to life, quieting the mental chatter.
I also share various other types of meditation (chanting mantras, silence, visualisation) that support us in relating consciously to the mind, activating the observer consciousness and accessing the centre of stillness and peace within.
I combine kundalini yoga with various tools of somatic healing, which are designed to support the nervous system to release stored tension, trauma and imbalance.
The practice is open to all people, levels & bodies. There is no prerequisite to practice, other than the willingness & openness to experience oneself.
